Twins in Japan have been named the ‘oldest identical twins’ by Guinness World Records

Guinness World Records has certified the 107 -year -old twins in Japan as the oldest living identical twins.
Umeno Sumiyama and Kourme Kodama beat the record of fellow Japanese twins Kin Narita and Gin Kanie.
The twins Umeno and Kourme were both defined as sociable people and were born on November 5, 1913
The twins are currently living in separate home care but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only their certificates have been sent to them.
Umeno has four children while Kourme has three.
Based on the record, Umeno and Kourme have lived 107 years and 300 days since receiving the award while their defeated twins Kim and Gin are 107 years and 108 days before one passed away.
