Travel ban of the Philippines in 10 countries will be lifted

President Rodrigo Duterte has already approved the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force to remove travel restrictions in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia starting September 6, 2021.

According to Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, international travelers from the aforementioned countries are required to adhere to testing and quarantine protocols when entering the Philippines.

“President Rodrigo Roa Duterte approved the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) to lift the current travel restrictions in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia starting September 6 , 2021, ”Roque said.

Earlier, the Philippines imposed a travel ban on the aforementioned countries due to the high COVID-19 case
