Security in the Philippines has been tightened amid the threat of a terrorist attack

The Palace of Malacañang has assured that the government is now on the lookout for possible attacks by terrorist groups in the country.
The Palace made this statement after the Japanese government issued a notice that someone was monitoring their ranks in the country’s security.
According to Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, the Philippines is grateful to Japan for providing the information.
He said the government has intensified its preparations for a possible terrorist attack.
Based on Japan’s notice, they are keeping their compatriots safe after monitoring that there is a possible terrorist attack in six countries in Southeast Asia including the Philippines.
