More than 70 percent of San Juan City residents, have already been vaccinated against COVID-19

According to the San Juan City government, the total number of fully vaccinated individuals in the city is 98,590.

This is equivalent to 78 percent of the total population of San Juan City based on the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) 202 census and 74.4 percent of the total population based on the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) projected population for 2021.

Also based on the latest data, the number of individuals who were given the first dose of the vaccine was 147,421.

At the same time, Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque formally announced at a press briefing that San Juan City has reached population protection against infectious diseases.

Vaccination is still ongoing in the said city.
