High Dollar remittances in July- BSP

Dollar remittances from abroad rise in the past month of July.

According to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), personal remittances from Filipinos abroad increased by 2.6 percent.

It recorded $ 3.167 billion in July 2021 compared to $ 3.085 billion in July 2020.

In total he said there was a six per cent increase in remittances from January to July 2021.

It will reach $ 19.783 billion from Jan-July 2021 compared to $ 18.658 billion in the same period in 2020.

Land-based and sea-based workers have high remittances and the easing of the countries during the COVID-19 pandemic has also helped a lot.
