Up to 17 million Filipinos have been injected with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said that more than 2.2 million people in the country have already received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
As a result, more than 39 million people in the country have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
Of that number, more than 6 million Metro Manila residents are “fully vaccinated” or equivalent to 61% of the target population in the region.
