The Department of Education (DepEd) plans to implement an incentive program for teachers vaccinated against COVID-19.
According to DepEd Director Malcom Garma, Secretary Leonor Briones has formed a committee that will take care of the incentives that fully vaccinated teachers can receive.
He also said that many individuals, local government units, and agencies are offering incentives to encourage more people to get vaccinated.
It will be noted that on November 15, the pilot implementation of limited face-to-face classes will begin in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
